Stach Bridge in Znamirowice
Did you know that 53 years ago, the remarkable Stach’s Bridge was built in Znamirowice—an impressive structure built single-handedly by one man? Lacking an access road to his farm, Jan Stach built one himself. Within 3 years, he built a 500-metre road and a stone bridge over a deep ravine. The bridge is 20 m long and 13 m high and still amazes visitors with its creator’s determination and craftsmanship.
