Back then, the resort had characteristic Brda cabins, recreation, a beach, and a cafeteria serving meals. Vacations were spent here, days enjoyed by the water, and time away from daily duties truly valued.
The Brda cabins quickly became inseparable from this place’s landscape. Their distinctive shape blends with the surroundings and still today evokes carefree holidays close to the outdoors.
Brda cabins are distinctive homes with a steep gable, recognizable silhouette. Popular especially during the PRL era, they still bring to mind holidays, nature, and relaxation away from the bustle of the city. Their biggest advantage is the functional use of space—despite their compact size, they offer a comfortable living area and extra space on the mezzanine. With their simple construction and unique atmosphere, Brda cabins have permanently entered the history of Polish holiday architecture.
2022—new life for an exceptional place
After many years, the place needed a new beginning. In 2022, the Bogdański family decided to give the resort a new dimension and started its comprehensive revitalization.
A key part of the transformation was the existing Brda cabins. Instead of fully replacing them with new buildings, they were renovated to preserve their characteristic architecture.
Thanks to modern glazing, the interiors opened up to the surrounding nature, and spacious balconies made it even easier to enjoy the view of Lake Rożnowskie.
This is how the old cabins found a second life: they kept their unique character, but gained comfort that meets today’s expectations.
From a holiday centre to a modern resort
Still, the revitalization wasn’t limited to the cabins.
noi began to gradually turn into a complete holiday destination. Guests gained access to comfortable rooms and apartments as well as a restaurant that can accommodate up to 120 people.
A Wellness Zone was also created with saunas, a jacuzzi, and a salt wall—so a lake stay can be combined with relaxation and regeneration.
